Moved? Updating Your Address and Contact Info

Change where your business is based, your coverage area, or the phone and email clients see.

Moved, opened a new location, or want job offers based on a different area? Your marketplace address is where Service Envoy treats you as based, so keeping it current is how you get offered the right work. The same page also controls the phone and email clients use to reach you.

Quick answer: change your address

  1. Open My Tech Profile and go to the Marketplace Profile tab.

  2. In the Marketplace Address card (near the top, under Marketplace Contact), click Edit selected address.

  3. Enter the new street address, city, state and ZIP, then save.

That's it. Distances and job offers from then on use your new location.

Why your marketplace address matters

It's the one address Service Envoy uses to decide where you are. It drives:

Clients only ever see your city and state. Your street address and ZIP stay private until you're accepted for a job.

Edit it, or add a new one?

A few rules: it has to be a physical street address (no PO boxes), and street, city, state and ZIP are all required. The ZIP matters most, because distance matching uses it to place you.

You can also see and edit every address on file from the Addresses tab of your profile.

Change the phone or email clients see

In the Marketplace Contact card (right under Technician Marketplace Status), click Edit selected contact. That contact needs a first name, last name, email and mobile number. Clients see it only once a site visit is assigned to you. Add new contact adds another one; pick it in the dropdown to share it instead. Every contact on file is also on the Contacts tab.

This does not change the email you sign in with. To change your login email, see Managing User Accounts & Login Emails.

If your business itself moved: update your W-9

If you're the account owner and your company's legal address changed, open the W-9 tab on your profile and click Resubmit with the new address. The W-9 is your tax record; the marketplace address above is what job matching uses. Update both when your business moves.

Posting work as a client?

Your company's client details live on My Client Profile. Use its Addresses and Contacts tabs to update the business address and the primary contact (phone and email) that the client marketplace requires.

FAQ

Do clients see my new street address?
No. Only your city and state are shown until you're accepted for a job.

I added a new address but offers still use the old area.
Adding an address doesn't share it. Pick the new one in the Marketplace Address dropdown, or use Edit selected address to change the one you already share.

I don't see Edit selected address.
Only your company's admin or accounting user can change the marketplace address and contact. If you run your own business you're usually its admin, so you'll see the buttons. If you're an employee technician, ask your company's admin to update it for you.
