Signing Up: Plans & Add-ons

Create your account, pick a plan, and choose the add-ons you need

Joining Service Envoy is free, and it takes a few minutes. Sign-up starts by asking what brings you here, then shows only the steps that matter for you. Add-ons aren't part of sign-up: you add them afterwards from Subscription & Plan. This article explains each path and what every plan and add-on is for.

Where to start

Open serviceenvoy.com and choose Sign Up, or pick a plan on serviceenvoy.com/pricing. The first screen asks What brings you to Service Envoy?

Doing both? Pick where you'll start. Every account can take work and send it out, and you can turn on the other side anytime. Looking for IT contract client lists instead? Use the Looking for IT contract client lists? link under the choices (see Buying a Direct Client Package below).

Step 1: Create your account

Enter your company name (optional), your U.S. business address and time zone, your name and mobile phone, your email address, and a strong password (at least 10 characters with upper case, lower case, a number and a special character). You'll verify your email with a code sent to that inbox before you can continue, and answer a quick "how did you hear about us" question. This email becomes your login and the owner of the account.

Step 2: Finish

Marketplace Essentials is already selected: free to join, no subscription, no credit card. If you need more, you can pick a company plan instead and try it free for 30 days. Here's what each plan is for:

On monthly billing, both paid plans start with a 30-day free trial — no credit card required to start. Annual plans don't include a free trial — the monthly trial is the free trial, and an annual plan is paid up front for the year at the annual discount. The free trial is one per company (we recognize your company by your business email domain): if your company has already had a trial or a paid plan, a new sign-up starts on the free plan instead, and you can upgrade from Subscription & Plan.

File storage. Marketplace Essentials includes 25 GB of file storage and the paid plans include 250 GB. We email your account owner when you reach 80%. If you reach the limit, new uploads pause until you delete files you no longer need or upgrade your plan. Technicians can always upload their deliverables at check-out, even when you are at the limit.

Early-adopter pricing may lower the monthly price — when it applies, the plan choice shows the lower price, and the exact price you'll pay is always shown before anything is charged.

If you have a code, click Have a coupon or referral code?, enter it and click Apply. Tick the box to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then click Create my free account (or Start my free trial if you picked a paid plan). There's nothing to pay today and you go straight in.

If you chose a paid plan on annual billing, the button reads Continue to payment. Your account is created on the free plan first, then you go straight to secure checkout to pay for the year. Your annual plan switches on as soon as the payment goes through. If you leave checkout before paying, your account stays on the free plan: open Subscription & Plan and click Continue to Payment to finish.

Buying a Direct Client Package

A Direct Client Package (DCP) is a curated list of IT contract clients, with their onboarding information, training files and videos, and rates, synced into your account. If you came from the Direct Client Package page, a Field Tech Academy link, or a DCP coupon email, sign-up starts with the package: choose the DCP Partial Package ($399 one-time) or the DCP Full Package ($999 one-time), then create your account and finish. A coupon in your link is filled in for you. Changed your mind? Click Skip, just create a free account. See Direct Client Package - How Do I Apply To Each Client? for how to use it once you have it.

Partial includes 6 months of data updates and Full includes 12. After that, updates stay free on a paid plan, or cost $5/month on Marketplace Essentials, the same for Partial and Full. A DCP is paid at sign-up: the button reads Continue to payment and takes you to secure checkout, where financing through Affirm is available (payments are handled by Stripe; Service Envoy never sees your card number). With a DCP and an annual plan together, you pay for the DCP first, then go to a second checkout for the plan.

Joining a company's technician network

If a company invited you to its technician network, use the link in your invitation. Sign-up is one short screen: confirm your name and email, verify your email, enter your street address and time zone, set a password and accept the Terms. There's no plan to pick and nothing to pay, and you join their network as soon as your account is created. Their activation checklist (your W-9, address and contact details) comes next.

Add-ons

Once you're in, the Owner can add or remove any of these anytime from Subscription & Plan (in the Admin menu, or from My Account):

After you sign up

You'll land in the app, ready to set up your company. Your plan and add-ons aren't permanent choices — change them anytime under Subscription & Plan: upgrade or downgrade your plan, add or drop add-ons, switch between monthly and annual, or add more user seats as your team grows.

If a subscription payment ever fails, you keep full access for 7 days while you update your payment method; after that the account is locked until it's paid. See When a Subscription Payment Fails.
