Installing Service Envoy on Android and iPhone
Get the Android app from Google Play, or add Service Envoy to your iPhone Home Screen
Service Envoy has an app for Android phones in the Google Play Store. On iPhone and iPad there is not an App Store app yet, but you can add Service Envoy to your Home Screen so it opens like an app. Both are covered below.
Android: get the app from Google Play
The Android app is free to install and works with the same Service Envoy login you use on the website. It adds your phone's camera, GPS check-in, and push notifications for messages about your site visits, and links in your Service Envoy emails open right in the app.
Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone.
Search for ServiceEnvoy: IT Field Service (the publisher is Service Envoy), or open this link on your phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.serviceenvoy.app
Tap Install.
Tap Open and sign in with your Service Envoy email and password.
Good to know:
The app is currently available in the United States.
Inside the app, plans and add-ons are managed on the website. The app shows a link that opens your Subscription & Plan page in your phone's browser.
If you are on a computer, open your name menu and choose Get the Android App to open the Google Play page.
Android without Google Play: add a Home Screen shortcut
If you cannot use Google Play, you can still put Service Envoy on your Home Screen from the Chrome browser.
Open Chrome on your Android phone and go to https://serviceenvoy.com
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Tap Install app or Add to Home screen (the wording varies by phone and Chrome version).
Name it if you like (for example, "Service Envoy") and tap Add or Install.
Tap the new icon to open Service Envoy without browser tabs or an address bar.
iPhone and iPad: add Service Envoy to your Home Screen
There is no Service Envoy app in the Apple App Store yet. Until there is, you can add Service Envoy to your Home Screen. It opens in its own window with no Safari address bar.
Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
Go to https://serviceenvoy.com
Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow).
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. You may need to tap More or swipe to find it.
Edit the name if you like, then tap Add in the top-right corner.
Tap the new icon to open Service Envoy. Log in once and it will remember you for longer sessions.
If something stops working
Android app: close it completely and reopen it. If it still misbehaves, check the Play Store for an update.
Home Screen shortcut: delete the icon and add it again using the steps above.
