Configuring Notifications & Dispatch Email

Choose which notifications go out, who gets them, and where office email lands

Notification Settings is where your company decides which notifications are sent, who receives them, and which email address your office uses. Open it from Admin → Notification Settings.

Who can open it: the Owner, Admins and Project Managers, by default. Your Owner can change this per role in User Management → Role Permissions (the Manage Notifications permission). Anyone who can manage all company settings can also open it.

General tab

Dispatch Email (your notification address)

This is your company’s notification address — often a shared inbox such as dispatch@yourcompany.com. It always receives check-in and check-out emails for your own employees’ Site Visits, and the copy your company gets when one of your technicians is sent work or an offer. Enter the address, verify it with the 6-digit code we email to it, then click Save Settings. An address that is not verified does not receive notifications.

Office notification emails go to

Some emails are meant for your office as a whole rather than one person — about work you sent out: a technician applied, checked in or out, submitted work, confirmed, or is running late; an offer was accepted or declined; a site visit is waiting to be submitted for payment; a schedule change was requested; a new message arrived, including a message sent to one of your technicians. Choose where they go:

This setting changes email only. In-app notifications (the bell) and phone push alerts still reach each user.

Browser push

Turn on push notifications for the browser you are using so alerts appear even when Service Envoy is not the open tab.

Marketplace, Private Network and Internal tabs

Each tab lists the notifications for that kind of work. For each one you can choose whether it goes to the technician, to your office, or both, and whether it arrives by email, in the app, or both. Notifications marked Required can’t be switched off.

A few office notifications (for example, the reminder that a completed site visit has not been submitted for payment) also let you pick which office roles receive them. Those choices apply when office email goes to each office user; with Our notification address only, the shared inbox receives it instead.

Pay notifications for employee technicians. Anything about pay on an employee technician's work goes to your office (admins, staff and accounting), never to the technician. That includes a payout approved, held or released; a pay or expense request answered; a pay change or cancellation fee offered; Site Not Ready pay; and a Private Network payment recorded or overdue. Each one names the technician it's about. Work alerts still reach the technician, without the pay. Solo technicians, who run their own account, keep getting their own.
