Refer & Earn — Referral Program
Refer a company to Service Envoy and permanently cut your marketplace fee by 1% per signup that activates — down to a 5% floor.
Refer & Earn — cut your marketplace fee by referring companies
Refer & Earn rewards you for growing the Service Envoy network. Every company you refer that joins the platform and activates a marketplace profile permanently reduces your marketplace platform fee by 1% — from the standard 10% down to a floor of 5%.
How it works
Find your referral link. There are three ways in: the green Refer & Earn announcement bar at the top of the app, the Refer & Earn card on your Account page, or the Get my referral link button on the Marketplace Fee card on My Tech Profile. All three land on the same page, where your unique referral link and code are shown at the top — copy either one.
Share it. Send the link to companies you know — independent techs, IT service shops, or clients who dispatch work. If they sign up through your link, the referral is tracked automatically. They can also type your code into the Coupon or Referral Code box on the signup page.
They activate, you earn. The reward lands when your referral activates their first technician marketplace profile or client marketplace profile. You'll get an email and an in-app notification the moment it happens, and your new fee rate applies to every marketplace payout from then on.
The details
Each qualified referral is worth a permanent 1% fee reduction. It never expires — even if your referral later deactivates their profile.
The most your fee can drop is to 5% (five qualified referrals).
One reward per referred company, applied to your whole company — every tech on your roster benefits on their marketplace payouts.
The program runs until the platform reaches 1,000 active technician marketplace profiles. After that, no new rewards are earned — but everything you earned before the cutoff is yours for good.
Track your referrals any time on the Refer & Earn page: who signed up, who has qualified, and your current fee rate.
Tip: the fastest way for a referral to qualify is activating a technician marketplace profile — that also puts them in line for marketplace work in their area.
Who can refer
Refer & Earn is run at the company level, so the page and the announcement bar are for Owners and back-office users. If you're an employee technician, your company's admins handle referrals — but any reduction they earn lowers the fee on your marketplace earnings too, so it's worth pointing them at it.
Your company needs an active marketplace profile of its own — technician or client — before a referral code is issued. Until then the announcement bar shows a locked version explaining what you'd unlock by activating.
Turning the announcement bar off (and back on)
The green Refer & Earn bar can be dismissed with the × on the right. That's remembered for you, on every device you sign in from — not just the browser you clicked it in. To bring it back, open the Refer & Earn page and click Show announcement banner in the top right (the same button reads Hide announcement banner while the bar is showing).
FAQ
Does my referral have to pay for anything for me to earn the reward?
No. The reward is triggered by them activating a marketplace profile — technician or client — not by a subscription or a purchase.
What if my referral deactivates later?
You keep the reduction. Once a referral qualifies, the 1% is permanent and is never clawed back.
Can I earn more than 5%?
No — 5% is the floor, reached at five qualified referrals. If you also hold an early-adopter promo rate, the two don't stack below 5% either; you're simply charged the lower of the two.
What happens when the program closes?
Once 1,000 technician marketplace profiles are active, no new rewards are issued. Reductions already earned stay in force permanently.
Where do I see my current fee?
On My Tech Profile, the Marketplace Fee card shows the rate you're actually on, and notes how much of it you earned through Refer & Earn.
