Field Technician Position
This is NOT an entry level position.
Service Envoy is seeking a full time W2 employee LEAD technician who is highly experienced with COMMERCIAL Low Voltage Cabling (network, audio video, and POTS phones. The best candidate will have a broad skillset and be able to problem solve on their own and lead other lower-level technicians.
Required Experience
(must have to be considered):
– Commercial Low Voltage Network & Audio Video Cabling Installation & Troubleshooting (including drop ceilings, hard ceilings, crawl spaces, wall fishes)
– Commercial Low Voltage Telephone Cabling Installation & Troubleshooting (including working with dial tone, 66 blocks, cross-connects, circuit extensions)

Optional Experience
(NOT REQUIRED but beneficial if you also have one or more of these skills):
– Commercial Networking Hardware (rack, stack, and smart hands)
– Commercial Wireless Networking Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
– Desktop Computer hardware / software Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
– Laptop Computer hardware Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
– Laser Printers Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
– Point of Sale Hardware Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
– Commercial Audio Video Equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repair
– Commercial Speaker / Audio Video cabling
Schedule:
Since this is the service industry, the schedule is dependent upon client needs. The majority of your calls will be during regular business hours Monday – Friday. You will also be expected to cover some occasional evening, weekend, and overnight service calls.
The majority of our calls are performed locally or regionally with driving to the sites and back to Tulsa in the same day. On rare occasions, a service call may require an overnight stay out of town of one to two days (the company provides hotel and per diem).
You will be working with clients ranging from home customers to fortune 500 companies at their homes and offices. The best candidate is a person who is not afraid to take on projects that they may not have done before and can think outside the box. General Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation to and from work; company car provided for service calls.
Must be comfortable working at heights on tall ladders & on scissor/boom lifts
Must have excellent customer skills.
Must have good grooming habits.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be able to turn in properly completed paperwork, photos, and job notes digitally from job before leaving customer sites.
Must understand technology terminology and be the kind of person who picks up on technical knowledge quickly.
Must be able to learn multiple client procedures and able to complete paperwork in a timely and legible manner.
Must be able to problem solve, self-motivate, and demonstrate integrity without direct supervision
Passing a Drug Test and Criminal Background Screening is required for hiring and change in status is grounds for termination.
Clean driving record and current drivers license required.
Compensation:
Depends on Experience
This is a full time hourly pay position with overtime pay as needed
Base pay plus performance pay
