Service Envoy, LLC is seeking a Field Technician who has some technical knowledge, education, or experience who is looking for an entry level / apprenticeship. This is a great opportunity to learn and gain real work experience!
You will be working in end user environments that range from home customers to fortune 500 companies at their homes & offices. We perform service calls on the equipment listed below and you can expect to be trained in most of these areas:
– Commercial Networking Hardware (rack, stack, and smart hands)
– Wireless Networking Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
– Network Cabling Installation and Troubleshooting
– Telephone Cabling Installation and Troubleshooting
– Point of Sale Hardware Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
– Desktop Computer hardware / software Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
– Laptop Computer hardware Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
– Laser Printers Installation, Troubleshooting, and Part Swaps
This is a very physically demanding job. You will be on your feet for hours at a time, climbing ladders, pulling / pushing cable, and moving / installing equipment of various weights.
General Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation to and from work; company car provided for service calls.
Must have excellent customer skills.
Must have good grooming habits.
Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be able to turn in properly completed paperwork, photos, and job notes before leaving job sites.
Must be able to learn multiple client procedures and able to complete paperwork in a timely and legible manner.
Must sign non-compete & non-disclosure agreement.
Must be able to self-motivate and demonstrate integrity without direct supervision
Must pass a Drug Test & Criminal Background Screening and change in status during employment is grounds for termination.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must have a current active Drivers License
Must be comfortable working on tall ladders, lifts, in ceilings, attics, and tight spaces.
Compensation:
$15/hr with incentive/performance pay.
Hours:
Most calls are scheduled within normal business hours.
You will be expected to work overtime as needed.
Many calls have start times outside of normal business hours and / or require travel time to and from service calls that may be outside of normal business hours.
Some calls may require an overnight stay out of town of one to two days.
